Oracle in the age of AI

On April 20, the School of Engineering at CUNEF Universidad will host the roundtable “Oracle in the Age of AI”, bringing together leading professionals from the technology sector to explore the role of artificial intelligence in digital transformation and the new opportunities it creates in the business landscape.

The session will feature Pedro Llamas Flores, Head of Cloud Engineering and Pre-Sales for Southern Europe; Belén Hernández Riesgo, Principal Sales Consultant; and Assela Villar Alamillo, Senior Principal Talent Advisor, together with engineers from the Generation Oracle (GenO) program, who have recently joined the company through its graduate scheme. 

The discussion will be moderated by Professor Carlos Lorenzo Bragado from the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad.

Throughout the session, key topics will be addressed, including the role of Oracle technologies in the age of artificial intelligence, their application in advanced innovation projects—such as the F1 Racing Team and SailGP—and career development opportunities within leading global technology companies.

In addition, the event will present the range of free professional certification programs available to CUNEF students, including practical guidance on how to obtain them.

The session will conclude with an open discussion, offering attendees the opportunity to ask questions, followed by the formal signing of an agreement between CUNEF Universidad and Oracle to provide free professional certifications for students and faculty members.
